Directed by Emilio Amaya

I recently directed “blu” by Virginia Grise through the Jeremy Torres Lab Theatre. Our version of the show was set in the late 90s with the backdrop being San Antonio, Tx. We made it a mission to make it a love letter to Chicano culture. This show was two years in the making and was a beautiful healing experience for me as I closed off a chapter in my life that I’ve never shown.
